Leendel pieces are made to be worn every day. A little care keeps them looking the way they did when they arrived.

Everyday care

• Wipe your piece with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to keep the shine.
• Put perfume, lotion and cleaning products on before your jewellery, not after.
• Dry it off after swimming in chlorine or the sea.

Storing your jewellery

• Store each piece on its own, in its pouch or box, so links and pendants don't scratch or tangle.
• Fasten the clasp before storing a chain. It helps stop knots.
• Keep pieces out of damp bathrooms when you're not wearing them.

Stainless steel

Most of our chains and pendants are stainless steel. Everyday water and sweat won't harm them, and they don't need polish or dip cleaners. A soft cloth is all they need. Each product page lists the material for that piece.

Plated pieces

Some pieces are gold-plated over stainless steel. Treat the plating gently: avoid abrasive cloths and harsh chemicals, and keep it away from other jewellery that could scratch it.
